The editors invite article submissions, on any topic of relevance to Middle Eastern and North African studies, to the second issue of Oxford Middle East Review. Papers will be considered for the journal’s two sections:
Research section
Articles up to 10,000 words (incl. citations) that present original material from any discipline that engages critically with Middle East and/or North Africa affairs, issues, or the study of these regions.
Policy section
Shorter briefs or position papers up to 2,000 (incl. citations) aimed at influencing contemporary debate or policy-making.
The editors will also consider original book reviews of up to 1,000 words.
